LGBT+  fans everywhere deserve better than the state of LGBT+ representation  in the media today. We will no longer settle for dead, sidelined, or  mistreated characters. Together, we can change the face of media,  starting with The Lexa Pledge.

do y’all know how much i invested in sleepy hollow?

i watched this pilot before it aired and sang its praises because i knew it was special.

i had so much hope and invested so much time and energy.

i spent so much time educating people about how important abbie mills was…how important and affirming it was seeing a black woman be loved *this* much.

there are still no black female leads like abbie mills on tv period (not just genre tv).

none.

i’m literally so exhausted i’m in tears.

i feel stupid and hopeless.
