Marian pulled out of the project after she became pregnant. Just one of those things, she’d been pretty core to the series until that.

Wow. The teaser trailer with marian is sooooo different in tone from the first teaser trailer with rhian. Rhian’s trailer really shows the rich part haha
Yeah, I think all it had really intended to show was the f/f romance part of it, there were BTS pics later on that showed Marian wearing a similar red dress to what we saw Rhian wearing in the extended teaser.

Hello! Who’s your favorite character in The Rich Man’s Daughter so far?
Oho, asking the toughies. I actually like, to some extent, all the characters except Oscar, the grandfather, and Tommy. It’s a testament to the writing and acting that even though some of the characters have unlikable aspects, they can still come across as sympathetic otherwise, like Amanda who was horrible about Paul or Gabriel, who’s been very unfair to both Pearl and Angie.
But obviously, favorite would have to be between Jade and Althea. Batchi’s great, Wila’s hilarious, I love Paul, but it’d have to be Jade and Althea till the end. Jade is a great character, sweet and funny and loving, and so genuine. Althea’s…pretty much the same, heh, in different ways. I dunno, I can’t pick between the two.
