Agreed, there was something THERE. It was that core relationship, deeper even within the wider circle of friends, framed as this historical one-that-gotta-away kinda trope that the whole current experience is there to fix, and then amends are made and a final overture to reach the happy ending they didn’t get before. I mean, we say “if they were a man and woman” all the time, but…yeah.
I’m watching Harley Quinn and every time kite guy is on my immediate reaction is “REALLY?! KITE GUY?!” Comic poison ivy would neveeeeer omg what have they done to her. At least he’s on less than I would’ve thought considering she Was set to marry him by seasons end.
Yepppppp. I get they needed someone non-threatening and easy to dump at the end of it all but…him? Anyway, he’s on not that much in s1 but he starts appearing more. Hopefully not so for s3. >_>
