I’ve noticed with Netflix that probably because they have some many things that are released monthly that they have been releasing trailers about two weeks before they release. An example is the Extraction trailer with Chris Hemworth came out today and the movie comes out on the 24th. So I would assume it’ll drop no later than the weekend of 17th.

Ohh, I didn’t even know about Extraction. So yeah, that seems like it’s cutting it close.

Sorry I didn’t answer you last night when you sent this, my computer started its non-stop crashing business again, but as it happens, Netflix put up the poster just a little while ago!

I’ve been clawing at the walls waiting for netflix to release the trailer and was hoping that cast had filmed some promo content before the pandemic. but actually I was just listening to alice on the queery podcast interview she did recently and apparently she had a couple choices between netflix and theatrical releases. which in hindsight now it turned out for the better that she went with netflix

Aw, it must have seemed an interminable wait when you were really focused on it. Now that you’ve said it, yeah, where’s the trailer? Or anything on its page except for the barest of details: https://www.netflix.com/title/81005150

It doesn’t even have a title card yet. I wonder if it’ll come out on time? I know most of this can be done remotely but this is all so motivation-sapping.

And yeah, although it’d have been really fun to have this movie get a full theatrical release, who knows with the numbers non-Disney movies get and it’d have been postponed anyway.
