Yep! Sometimes, when I’m shifting back to this show from another and am honestly kind of impatient to move ahead to other eps, I’m like, is there anything left in this one? But there is! So much! As you said, the tension around the bed scene, the waking up, the office, at the end that amused “did you talk to your therapist about me?” I really, really love this ep and refuse to be hurried through it! Even by that most fickle of people…me.
Gonna gif any of “The Stranger” in the future?
Yep, probably just miscellaneous HJK. I really wish they’d gone there with her and Lily Loveless, I kept on thinking, oh, they’re together? They live together and have a cat together and clearly care a LOT about each other, but no! A waste. But probably for the best, considering that ending. :<
It was such a trashy show, lol, I was joking with my friend that if there’s a second season, it should be HJK’s character who starts getting odd messages and visits and then it turns out it’s from Lily Loveless, who didn’t die.
Is it worth it to watch Nurses for the wlw couple?
You know, I originally answered this with no, but in the time since, I’ve had to drop three shows because I while I love the genre, I really couldn’t handle how meanly they wrote and I guess there’s something to be said for shows like Nurses that at least TRY to be kinder in their storytelling.
If you’re asking if the wlw couple features enough to watch the whole show if you weren’t originally inclined, then no. If you’re asking if the wlw couple is enriched by watching the whole show if you weren’t originally inclined, then no. Caro, the love interest, doesn’t even appear in every ep, you could get almost all their interactions so far just through gifs. In fact, they’ve had five so far, I’ve giffed four. But if you want to watch an earnest, very Canadian medical soap where the second-billed character is wlw, you could try this, I guess.
Yeah! I mean SNSD are still considered legends, so it seems like a pretty big deal! Kind of excited to see what it is about (probably more about the acceptance of the mother, still hoping for some kind of relationship though)
I think she actually breaks up with a long-time gf and I guess finally seeks comfort from her mom so, you know, but stilllll. They ARE legends and this IS major.
Have you heard of “Hello dracula”? Upcoming Korean drama with an actual lesbian. SNSD Seohyun is playing the role.
I had not! Wowwww. Interesting, interesting. My dash failed me, I had no idea!
Looking it up, it’s a two part series, airing on February 17th and 18th, I guess her relationship with her mom is one of three different stories in it? Seohyun! Lol, I would not have picked it to be her, but any one of the SNSD ladies doing this is huge.
