Oh wow, thank you! Not one of the biggest fandoms on here, so that was nice to hear. đ
It’s messy but I can’t help but melt into mush whenever Amanda and Edie have scenes together. Kudos to the actresses. I wish we got more of them
I wonât say theyâre from a totally different show, because they get the same writing as everyone else, but they seem heaps more adult and professional. Even though theyâre having a very soapy affair, heh.Â
I know we focus a bit on Ellen on For All Mankind, but thereâs a scene in latest episode that cracked me up so much. When Ed, Gordo, and Danielle are reacting Bob Newhart lol
Lmao, yes! I actually really loved that, and was trying to figure out a way to gif in parallel to watching it on screen. For a while, everything was going all right on Jamestown and it was just so charming and absurd and lovely to see. These incredibly educated, smart, brave humans sitting up there on the moon, acting out and laughing at a sitcom ep. And the fact that even Ed and Dani were into it, who tended to be more serious at times, all of them giddy and acting like children. I was so mad at NASA for not sending up more tapes! If they had any idea what they were going through…
Iâve been waiting for Jodi to play queer since bomb girls. She is not disappointing. ? thanks for the gifs!!
Oh, youâre welcome and same! To be clear, it wasnât an âinstead of Kate or Bettyâ situation, but just wanting all the ladies to be f/f. đ So far, yeah, the For All Mankind storyâs been impressively written and impressively acted.Â
Hey, I love your tumblr! Thanks for all the awesome gifs. Just wondering what happened on the latest ep of For All Mankind.
Hey, thanks!
Okay, so, remember how I was predicting that maybe Ellen and Larry would get married to take the heat off? I had ALMOST added, as a guess that I then decided was too soapy, that Pam and Ellen would split up and maybe reunite years later, but it seemed too dramatic, why wouldnât they just continue to treat it as the artificial but necessary arrangement it was? But the next ep picks up in the same general time, no large timeskip, Larry and now Ellen are continuing to face pressure, and when the boss suggests they take that next step, while theyâre considering it, to Pam, that would be it. Itâs too big and meaningful for her to ignore, so if they went for it, she and Ellen would be over. And then one of the final scenes is Ellen and Larry getting married.
