As someone who’s watching In the Dark: Jess didn’t sleep with Felix, she stopped when he pulled down his boxers and she said something along the lines “I’m SO gay”. Even though they made clear Jess is indeed a lesbian I wasn’t happy with the scene. It was so unnecessary: Jess wasn’t questioning her sexuality, it didn’t add anything to the storyline. Maybe the writer was also smoking pot writing that scene…

Oh, thanks for clarifying! And yes, even getting to this point JUST so they can make that joke…meh.

Lmao I was actually the one that started watching Bc of ur gifset ? But I knew the possibilities when I started another cw show lol. I’m 100% uninterested in any arc where Jess realizes she’s bi after being completely biphobic and secure in her identity as a lesbian. It’s bad messaging all around. And just plain bad writing. I’m so sick of storylines where lesbians gotta prove they’re gay by fucking a dude or where sexuality is only fluid for lesbians. I get ppl can be fluid irl, but still.

shiiit harlots trailer is really packed! can’t wait for July to arrive!! And as always thanks for the gifs!

It is! Oh my gosh. 

First of all, MARGARET WELLLLLSSSS. When is she going to show up? Will she just like, hover around like a masked vigilante, and thus get to have long unexplained absences, or will she make contact with her family? Harlots’ trailers go pretty deep into the new seasons, so I’m imagining with Samantha Morton’s obligations to TWD, she’ll only show up in the second half, but whatever, I’m just happy she’s going to be there.

What all is going on with Isabella, hmm? And Charlotte, like, are they jointly hosting something with other fancy people? Who’s Charlotte what a bawd is to? And Isabella’s just gonna tell people she has a daughter?? And then there’s Theon and his story and Harriet and hers and Emily Lacey and Harcourt and the boxing guys and Lydia surely going to get her revenge. And! It took me a bit to place her, but Angela Griffin from the The Detail’s that new bawd who’s teaming up with Lucy for a m/m brothel? Hmmmm. It’s weird, this is the third time very recently I’ve been reminded that for gay men, the punishment was hanging. D: 

I’m not super happy about the absence of the Scanwells and Violet, all three were so important in their own way. Just have to wait, I guess, to see what happens there. I’m going to be sooo tense during July and August, with this show and Killjoys. Really need all the wlw to survive, please.
