I’ve watched through 2×04 of the fall and im curious if you have any idea how far Reed and Stellas relationship will go?

Welllllll. I don’t know, really. I’m not actually up on the spoilers, but honestly, the extra few scenes we got in 2×04 were more than I expected. On the one hand, Stella goes to Reed’s office and lays down on her sofa and waits while she’s changing?? On the other, there’s Tom Anderson now and it seems like Reed Smith and Stella are settling back into their normal friendship. So… *waggles hand* I’m hopeful but not expectant.

I’m a fan of your gifs, especially the ones from series 2 of The Fall. I saw that many of those have over 1,000 + reblogs/notes. I was curious which of your gifs are the most popular and if you wouldn’t mind sharing a few of your faves.

Most popular is by FAR the Halloween candy post, though technically the combined notes from the reposted version of What Would You Do? way surpasses that (I don’t actually mind the reposting, because who’d want another 1.5m notifications, but the guy seems a douche :). Pretty much all the rest of the popular ones are simple sets from the Daily Show, and of those, my favorites would be the ones with Jessica Williams. My own overall favorites are probably the Sleeping Warrior manip and the lighting of the beacons. Man, there are so many posts, I couldn’t begin to remember…but those two do stand out (as do two other SW posts for what they represented at the time…how did they mess that up so badly?).

Oh, I spent hours on this one, getting it to fit the filesize limit. This one was kind of spectacular in how it looked in gif form (not that any of that was due to me). I liked this recent one from PoI. Ah, I remember thinking non-stop about this TMas post for weeks, until the damn Emmy nominations came out and then I just had to make it in my hurt disappointment. One of my first OB posts, just as the fandom was really taking off. Oh, spoilers beware if you haven’t watched Dominion yet, but I loved this reveal. These freaking two. The only gifset I’ve managed to make from this gorgeous, gorgeous movie (though, to be clear, the plot itself was kind of awful). This cuteass moment that I still don’t know how to color. May kicking Ward’s ass as Skye shuts him down. Tooooepick. These parallels just worked out so well (20 years apart!). The first use of Actual Puppy Delphine! Pretty sure everyone made some version of this. Ooh, oh, I did make a few posts for J/7, but it rather amused me when one was Hijacked by the Bering & WellsTM fandom. 🙂 As was this post, actually. Other favorite additions: these tags and this comment.

Oh god, but you know what I’m kicking myself over? The caption for this Tomb Raider set. I was referring to the original (non-rainbow) ending and figured the few people in the SS Endurance tag’d get it and chuckle and that’d be that but instead a bunch of people think that’s the actual ending. My comment really was super confusing.

whats the context on the cheek kiss (talking about the yudh show)? ~ I am intrigue ~

That full scene is here but in the context of the show, well, I am glad you asked, Anon.

Yudh is a 20-ep Indian TV series, most famous for being the TV debut of Bollywood suuuuperstar Amitabh Bachchan. It’s supposed to be a departure from the usual soapy family dramas India tends to produce and the premise is actually close to Kelsey Grammer’s Boss, in that it has a powerful figure recently diagnosed with a neurological disorder who tries to keep it a secret as he maintains his power and relationships. The show’s actually pretty solid (except for the last half hour), Bachchan doesn’t overpower it, the characters act like real people and make understandable decisions, there are a lot of layers and players to the conspiracies. A good effort from India.

Unlike in Boss, where the powerful figure was in Chicago politics, Bachchan’s character here, Yudh, is a big business mogul. The two ladies in the gifset are Mona, Yudh’s PR officer, and Kavita, the head of a news station’s investigative team. They begin to interact as Mona attempts to handle a mess that Yudh and Kavita’s boss have created.

Kavita seems clearly queer and they don’t explicitly discuss a lot of things or their reactions, but Mona seems open to it. The relationship is handled really well, for Indian standards, and hell, US too. There’s no gay panic, there’s no man inserted in the storyline, neither is affected negatively because of it, their relationship is present in the background throughout and actually seems to be a source of strength for Mona, the more central character.

In that cheek kiss scene, Mona, who was very close to her sister and nephews but has just moved out from their place because of some drama, wants to visit the kids and introduce Kavita to them. (She’s also apparently living with Kavita, so…well done.)
