Awwww. I mean, I do feel like the show hit a kind of wall in the latter…half? Third? It wasn’t ever super amazing but I felt like at least there was some kind of plan earlier on, like it was building to something, and then it kind of fizzled out on the payoff.
But still, Edie Falco playing a lesbian lead, I was here for that! Especially if it was with Katrina Lenk. I don’t know if they planned on that always being temporary, since Katrina was gonna go on Broadway, or if they’d shoot their half season orders around that, but I guess it’s a moot point now. I don’t think she was even supposed to be in the finale, she doesn’t seem to be in the cast list.
