Omg, that’s recent! I dunno, man…that experience…was freaking messy. There was so much going on behind the scenes, I don’t know if people would be willing to just move past that and get into a sequel. It’s definitely interesting, though, if only to see how they’d approach another show like that, given that they had a first chance and did THAT with it. Well, it HAS been five years, hopefully things have progressed since. Although things have been going on politically in the Philippines that aren’t generally encouraging, so you know.
I loved the interview scene, Val making sure all of México knows Juliana Valdes is taken lol. Flozmin did a similar scene, I hope main rich girl proclaiming her love for her gf in an interview becomes a telenovela trope for lesbian couples
Lol, Jade on the Filipino drama The Rich Man’s Daughter did it too! I’ll have to keep an eye out for it when I start watching Flozmin.
It was a great scene, I don’t know its place here, but it was great in itself. And tbh, why not, it didn’t hurt anything and a lot of us loved it. That the finale was rushed doesn’t mean that the parts we did get weren’t great.
I remember you’ve mentioned Jathea in one of your responses to an anon question. I saw one of their vids on Youtube that has 1+ million views.. I’m wondering if it’s worth it… Is it good? I’m kinda looking for other ships to watch while waiting for Juliantina episodes daily.
Sorry for the delay in responding! Um. I think if you ignore all the BTS stuff and just watch till the airport ep (around ep 23?), that would probably be the best experience for you. It’s a nice little happy ending. After that, things start becoming kind of weird and then really weird. There was network interference and it just didn’t make for good watching.
