It’s not mediocre and really is that far fetched that after all the bullshit they’ve been through, they dont want angst/pain anymore? That if their relationship is where they can have some peace and quiet, they will take it. With the ever there certainty that they are still very important to each other, Juls regrets it and all is talked out, but muted because everything ELSE hurts and they dont trust to let it free, it might just crash and burn for the wrong reasons. Perdon but dating a “bad boy” who not even attractive and got nothing to show for himself except maybe some money/power and a mean attitude? Overdone, not even close to original, almost boring. You know what is rebelious and dangerous? Enemies-to-lovers with your widowed stepmom, who gets a bit too close to you anytime you argue, and her greenish blue eyes have this fire in them that kinda scares you, but isn’t that exciting? i just realized that Barbara & Maca are actually over with the filming of “Amar a muerte” so that thing is in post production, and they could EASILY just forget about it, but they are out there, accepting interviews about it, raising awareness, thanking the fans, posting on social media. never, ever, have we been this lucky. i feel loved? and accepted? and cared for? and obviously, grateful? Our fierce captain and brave champion (pls publish)
Yeah, when it’s a ship like this, there’s always the extra dimension of how the cast and crew behave toward it, since this isn’t in fact “like any other ship”, it’s something where there’s a real risk of them wanting to stay away from it outside of taping it. And that it’s one of the first big ones adds to that risk, people aren’t sure how to handle it, in the show side, the media side, or the public.
Aside from just being really nice to the fans and engaging with them often, these two have been really fantastic ambassadors for something where they’re in a real position to make a difference. And I think it’s pretty nice that the network and media are seeing this wave of positive response and playing into it.
