I want a Truth and Measure style post-HACF Cameron/Donna fic. ALL THE BEATS WERE THERE IN THE FINALE. Omigosh. I should have known. It’s so weird when you think that for bad things that had proven their awfulness, but in this case, so much of the season with them apart and being the actual slow burn for the series send-off. Not Cam and Joe but Donna and Cameron.
I should have trusted them to treat them right.
God, there were some moments in there when I really thought they were gonna go farther. It was just all about them. This show should be remembered well, it made such a bold move and stuck with it, removing the two men almost entirely from the finale.
Pleeease, fic writers, it could so easily be done from where they left it.
