People be talking about ellen and pam (who hopefully get back together!) but like is no one seeing tracy and karen literally raising their boys together? Their boys practically live under the same roof and the way tracy and karen stormed out of the principles office like a power couple? iconic.

Oh, hah, I didn’t even think  of that. You’re the superior shipper, anon. I’d love to ship them but there just seemed too much friction brewing there at the best of times. All kinds of vague resentments and jealousies under the surface. But I mean, that makes for good conflict to work through for a ship, if you’re so inclined.

I know we focus a bit on Ellen on For All Mankind, but there’s a scene in latest episode that cracked me up so much. When Ed, Gordo, and Danielle are reacting Bob Newhart lol

Lmao, yes! I actually really loved that, and was trying to figure out a way to gif in parallel to watching it on screen. For a while, everything was going all right on Jamestown and it was just so charming and absurd and lovely to see. These incredibly educated, smart, brave humans sitting up there on the moon, acting out and laughing at a sitcom ep. And the fact that even Ed and Dani were into it, who tended to be more serious at times, all of them giddy and acting like children. I was so mad at NASA for not sending up more tapes! If they had any idea what they were going through…

Hey, I love your tumblr! Thanks for all the awesome gifs. Just wondering what happened on the latest ep of For All Mankind.

Hey, thanks!

Okay, so, remember how I was predicting that maybe Ellen and Larry would get married to take the heat off? I had ALMOST added, as a guess that I then decided was too soapy, that Pam and Ellen would split up and maybe reunite years later, but it seemed too dramatic, why wouldn’t they just continue to treat it as the artificial but necessary arrangement it was? But the next ep picks up in the same general time, no large timeskip, Larry and now Ellen are continuing to face pressure, and when the boss suggests they take that next step, while they’re considering it, to Pam, that would be it. It’s too big and meaningful for her to ignore, so if they went for it, she and Ellen would be over. And then one of the final scenes is Ellen and Larry getting married.
