Pairing: Root/Shaw (Person of Interest)
Words: 1458
Notes: Got a fresh burst of inspiration to write last night. AT THE EXPENSE OF MY HEART. This is just a little drabble to help me heal a bit. It’s a little too fluffy to be realistic BUT MY HEART! It needs it.
Post-4×12, after they get Shaw back, because of course they’re going to get Shaw back. Shut up.

It didn’t feel like my life was ever going to be the same.
Sort of like… you know… just a bunch of chaos up there
Like, above me and around me but I couldn’t…
I had no access to it.
And that’s probably what made it feel more like hell.[Canto I by Le Loup]

Root looks different when she sleeps.

So, in addition to the wonderful story I got for Yuletide (discussed here, link here) interested parties should also check out another Bletchley Circle fic, At Rest, which is some amazingly-written over-the-years stuff like I love. It’s poignant and just a little heartbreaking and so very them.
Also, should you fancy reading a Susan/Millie Bletchley-era bickering roommates turned lovers story or a tenuously plotted Scott & Bailey / Bletchley Circle crossover, written by yours truly, you can now do so.

fic: searching for a sound we hadn’t heard before (lizzie bennet diaries; lydia/gigi)
Title: Searching For a Sound We Hadn’t Heard Before
Fandom: Lizzie Bennet Diaries
Pairing: Lydia Bennet/Gigi Darcy
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 13286
Author’s Notes: I finally finished the fic I started summer of 2013. So basically I crush canon beneath the heels of my shoes. Part 1 of the 1989 Project which I am collaborating on with thecousinsdangereux, fiddleabout, and coffeesomemore to write a fic per song for Taylor Swift’s album.Summary: The first word Lydia ever says to Gigi Darcy is “fuck”. Not because she’s trying to be a badass, and not because she’s trying to scare Gigi off. It’s mostly because Lydia is clumsy, and her pain threshold is low, and — those are the only reasons, really.
Or: Lydia and Gigi across America.

MADAM SECRETARY: Talent Doesn’t Skip a Generation, Daisy/Stevie,
“So.” Stevie begins, but Daisy’s glare makes her falter. “This is going to sound kind of weird, but I heard your office was maybe the one place in this building that a girl could score a little weed.”
“Not anymore. And you don’t have clearance to read at least half of what’s in those drawers.”

**EMERGENCY WESTALLEN FIC, BREAK GLASS IN CASE OF EMERGENCY**
(This drabble is for enefasparable, so aaahhhhh I hope you like it!!)
A thousand questions burst forth as Iris stared at the security footage. She was fairly certain her mouth was hanging open.
The little screen fuzzed and blinked at her, but there was no mistaking it. He appeared out of nowhere, trailing red and gold in his wake. The Flash slammed into the brick wall, collapsing in a tangle of limbs. He ripped off the mask that covered his face, exhausted, and clearly frustrated.
Barry. It was Barry.
