Oh my god, Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan are one of my favourite straight couples ever on film, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is a masterpiece, everyone should watch it at least once, btw have you ever watched Dil Hai Tumhaara? Cause I have a lot of feelings about that movie

Eh I think I feel like GH coulda gone a lot further with the whole Kristina/Valerie fake!dating thing – like I was kinda psyched for an old school soapy triangle. Plus, always been squicked out by the student/teacher thing. Not to mention the potential of Kristina falling for a cop? Le sigh.

Yeah, actually, they could have had a lot of fun with it, but it just fizzled out. I’m not really sure what’s going on, it’s all been stilted with lots of repetition. I assume it’s because none of the three are regulars? But it’s not doing well for those storylines at all.

It’s a cultural tradition that’s prevalent across South Asia that was started to prevent any devils/jinns from praying – similar to the stand shoulder by shoulder philosophy when praying – but there’s no basis in the Quran or Hadith for the folded corner.
