Sjukt Oklar-Long ask incoming ! (1/4) Can I be called the Sjukt Oklar anon ? Since I did like 99% your asked about the show ? (and the first one very important ?) You already started gifing the show ! That was actually the scene I was going to ask you to gif!(quite obviously aka best of S2) I’m OBSESSED with this show like it has everything I want in a show. It’s the kind of show that don’t need any headcanons or fanfics because how complete it is. Maybe it’s because of the format also idk…

(2/4) AND it’s so much FUN ! It has all the tropes : the lovers to exes to lovers, the weird but legal kind of teacher-student relationship, college life, some angst, some PINING (S1 mostly), and the DOMESTICITY (S2 was filled with it, love it) !

(¾) Speaking of domesticity, may I request you a gif from episode 2 of the S2 (~8:50min) when Ellen goes back in the apartment ? (love that scene idk why) or maybe the beginning scene from episode 3 ? (Lol the whole sequence was hilarious)

(4/4) Anyway what did you think of S2 ? I think I liked S1 better because of the buildup leading to THE scene episode 6 haha, but like S2 was also really really good ! WATCH ? SJUKT ? OKLAR ! (To clean your soul also for a bit of happiness in those times…) The end.

Hi! Thanks for those asks! Without them I’d probably not have been prompted to post anything for them and that’d have been a pity, they ARE exceptionally cute. It’s genuinely one of those shows where there’s so many good parts I get overwhelmed and can’t pick and just leave it all for later. You’re right, it is so complete, it doesn’t need anything more, it’s this level of focus and light-heartedness and romance where it’s got everything.

Heh, many tropes! “Weird but legal” student-teacher is so accurate, I’m so grateful they met and were a thing before we saw them in school because whew, was that phase awkward. I can’t imagine being in Vera’s shoes, what a nightmare for her. And sure, I’ll add those requests to the list.

I liked s2! But I preferred s1, for the same reason you said, there was a buildup. I do like seeing couples together and all, but there was a kind of upward trajectory in s1? While s2′s was kind of downward and then back up at the end. I much prefer seeing people come together rather than fall apart (even if they do get together again).

yes on Charmed 2.0! it was shaky but I thought it found it’s ground in s1. but gooood it’s gone so far downhill. thought we would get like, more magic and some sisterly bonding(will mel and macy ever like talk? find out in episode 100 … maybe??) but it’s all about fucking Harry and sometimes Macy (who is my fave) but only if she’s standing nex tp Harry. who is also too old for her. and god they do nothing with mel. im so frustrated with the show but i continue because i foolishly have hope lol

I knowwww. It’s gonna sound silly but my friend and I used to excitedly gush about this show back in the first season, the things it was doing, the way it centered the sisters, didn’t make fun of them for being angry or hurt, took them seriously. Now it’s just so much more mean-spirited, and obviously the pivot to center on the white dude and the white villain has been extremely off-putting. I like Abigael but not to this extent. I don’t know which writer is in love with Harry but the way the characters constantly have to praise him and make him seem irresistible, uh, ease off. And to make Macy all about him now, like, what about her? And yes, yes, the way they’ve sidelined Mel has been so disappointing. Unless there’s a big change BTS, I don’t see the show going back to how it was, but it’s good to have hope, heh.

Not the same charmed anon but I need to vent for a second. It does look like they’re moving toward Abigael & Mel being a thing but it’s SO forced. Macy & Abigael have all the chemistry, they just seem so set on putting Macy & Harry together and it’s awful.

Yeah, Macy and Abigael had noticeable sparks, but well, Macy’s a woman, Harry’s a man, it’s just inevitable! Feh. That’s the saddest part, that even in s1, when Gal was around, we KNEW what would happen and then of course they went there. It just hammers in even more how for f/f ships we have to be like, well, friendships, how deep, it’s more than romance, they can’t just write it because the fans want it, while m/f ships will happen no matter what.

Different anon. I just read your answer about a possible fight between Carina & Maya… I swear IF it’s this, I’m going to lose my shit because I don’t want that Satan & Krista fuck up them. I just don’t want that kind of scene with Marina. Ugh when will we see the new episodes ?! ??

Oh, I just said that to hedge my bets and not raise anyone’s hopes too high, I didn’t actually think it’d be a fight, both because they seemed pretty pumped about it and because we’ve already seen one? In the captain’s office, no less? But you know, if there is one, that only means there’s gonna be a makeup scene, since they seem to still be together at the end of the season, so either way, win-win! 🙂

Hey, Charmed (2018), i think Mel and Abby will be together.

Oh? You mean THE HARRY SHOW (2018)? Sorry, sorry, I don’t mean to take it out on you but if i sound bitter, it’s because I am. I hate the shift they started in 1b and completed in s2.

But anyway, that’s interesting, I guess. I haven’t actually stayed caught up on it but just last night I moved it to the top of my list to watch next. I’ll keep an eye out for that.

Tthe scene in the captain’s office comes from the live with Danielle and Sfefania from the Thursday when the vacation ep aired and there was a question about favorite scenes together and at first they were like, they’re all great, and that the bed scenes were cozy to shoot, but then Danielle said that she’s really excited to see a scene in the captain’s office that hasn’t aired yet. No guarantee it’ll be a positive scene, of course, it could be another fight but they both seemed hyped about it.
