totally agree with ur tags abt michelle krusiec. i mean, look at lucy liu even. i know its been said before but her name recognition is huge and after kill bill she should have been hollywood royalty but instead she kinda never got a good film role after that. wtf

 Oh, huh, that’s true. I guess I thought Elementary took up her time, but yeah, no, there were quite a few years between. And she did well, relatively! It’s been pretty sad to see, both Krusiec and Lynn Chen on Twitter and other places have remarked on not getting the roles after Saving Face they’d expected and now it’s 15 years later and they’ve kind of aged out of those opportunities altogether. It’s getting a little better now, of course, but things with non-white leads are still very much the exception and are defined by it.
