I’m all for Demi and Kristian because I’m just desperate for any and all of wlw couples in the media but I still can’t get over the fact that Demi didn’t know how Nelson Mandela was. Like… that’s seriously one of the most cringe moments that my brain could only translate to “ah, white American” and I hate that I was forced to be so judgmental.

Heh, anon, that was so unfair to you. But judgmental to, like, the system that created the situation, right? I don’t really blame people for not knowing things, you never know how they grew up, and it’s really difficult to not know…what you don’t know. I grew up switching between different school systems and you’d be shocked at how much I never learned.

What I might have side-eyed her for is if she’d responded in a “who cares?” kinda way but I think her response was pretty solid?

The girls on Bachelor on paradise are adorable i highly recommend checking out their cuts and they have been getting tons of hate from homophobes and straight bitter viewers and people even want them off the show, since your blog is known to work miracles and these two need more support from us i hope you get to watch and help spread the word about them.

Ahh, anon, I’m so sorry, you sent this so long ago. August 22nd, and the show’s almost over now. I WISH I could make things I wanted popular, lol, but I’ve never been able to do that, it’s honestly the other way around.

But speaking of these two, I kind of expected the heat to ease off them a bit when other contestants got more focus and I think it did happen? And the responses to yesterday have still been mixed but I think overall surprisingly positive and thoughtful? They could have played that so much worse, the outsider wlw being so demonstrative with the other girls, I shudder to think how that could have looked in the hands of a more drama-hungry producer, but it turned out pretty nice?

I love those bright, eye-catchingly cute romcom covers, so I created a few mock ups to show potential clients.

Three different stylings of the same “title”, because I’m #versatile.

– A chic and flirty romance cover
– A light, fun, toons n’ doodles middle grade version
– And a more simplistic take that says “chicklit beach read”

All in all, this was a fun exercise! Definitely going to try to come up with more.
