You can tell this is the first telenovela juliantina fans on here have seen, otherwise they wouldnt be asking for a second season. Telenovelas are structured very differently from US shows. A second season or spinoff wouldn’t necessarily mean more happy juliantina.

Well, I wouldn’t say that any fan of f/f in the whole world would confidently expect good things from a continuation, I think people are just riding the wave of hope and optimism that the mostly great treatment for 80 eps has inspired in them. The intentions and execution have been good so far, so why would that not continue?

Of course, we know why, it’s always a matter of time, it seems. F/f couples being ruined is not unique to telenovelas. But that’s the case for anything, isn’t it? Should we never get into any f/f story because it’s always going to be ruined? These two actresses have such good chemistry, work so well off each other, these characters and their dynamic are great, people are essentially making the gamble that all the good parts will outweigh the bad. And watching an episode like yesterday’s, it’s easy to see why they’d think that.

holy mother of pearl! i finally had a chance to watch the new ep and thought juliantina reuniting was gonna be the best part but Guille just bringing out Papa Leon/Jacobo like that had me GASPING on the bus! I never thought I’d get so into a telenovela but damn they got me good!

They were the best parts, but the rest of the show is really kicking into high gear too. I love that Eva’s like, what, so the driver’s part of the family reunion too? She’s so not going to take it well, she never bonded with him the way Guille and especially Val did. Which, I have to believe that all this happened so that Val can most easily believe him.
