Oh, sorry, I’ve actually yet to read a single Juliantina fic. It’s a combination of me not really being in the mood to try any new fics but also, I kind of want to stay with my canon versions of them a while longer?

maybe maca smoked some weed before filming the scenes where her pupils were dilated ?? no but i wonder if there’s a way you can ‘make’ them dilate? if so, maca is even more talented than we thought!!

To that anon asking about the dilation on pupils… i think it has more to do with their sensitivity towards light (it happens to all of us) but it is more noticible in people with light eyes (maca, alycia etc)
Yeah, but Eliza Taylor has very light eyes too and I don’t think it was noticed in her in the same way? Maca in particular looks practically belladonnaed, we get closeups of Val looking at Juls so frequently and her pupils are blown the heck out. You can barely see the blue for the black.
Lol, now I’m curious. I mean, I noticed it before (how could I not, several anons did send asks about it) but now I’m curious as to the how. There doesn’t seem to be a lack of light in either situation either.
i just watched a couple scenes of val from 1×02- 1×04 (i can’t remember which episode) she was watching home videos after leon died and the kid in the video looked to be about 1-2 and the time stamp was 1998! So it seems val was probably born around ‘96-‘97!! I hope that clears at least vals age a little bit!

hey can you make a power hour voting where we only vote for barbara? apparently both girls are winning but maca is at about 90% while barbara was at around 45% and the person in second place was at 43%. maca has secured the win so we can relax with her category but barbara really needs all the votes she can get
Hmm, yeah, I heard about that. I’m not sure we can trust any numbers coming out, though, and I’d hate to suggest leaving aside either, they’re both so close it can’t take that long to vote for both. But I do get the reasoning, we did clearly see during the Instagram voting how much more competition Barbara had.
It’s up to everyone else, if they want to concentrate on Barbara for a while, it might help push her up and get a safety buffer. Or just vote more for both.
Just a random thought since im rewatching juliantina scene (i have issues ok). Did we ever find out the ages of the carvajal kids plus lucia since eva said she was around her age or something?
I think a writer or producer or somebody behind the show recently answered a fan’s ask about Val’s age as 20-21, which makes a ton of sense.
I don’t know about the rest but did you catch Lucia’s gravestone at the end? 1992-2018? She’s not 26, no way. Eva said she was around her age but she seemed to imply the other side of it. 26 has to be closer to Guille. They can’t be like one or two years apart from Val to Guille to Eva to Lucia. I feel like time isn’t a linear concept in telenovelas, lol. Also, you can’t rely on what the props say.
