omg you finally found out about the butch desi on hollyoaks i saw a clip on yt ages ago but they haven’t really given her a proper storyline so i just watch the occasional clip on yt and i dunno if you’ve ever seen citizen khan but she was on it and she looks so different! also bhavna was on it as well they played sisters and finally realising where i’ve seen these two before had me a lil shook

You know what, I’m not sure. I just assumed so because Bhavna mentioned talking to Pakistani Muslims when doing her research for this storyline? The Habeebs could be Indian, but they feel more Pakistani to me. Maybe it’s just me, and of course they are fictional characters. And in real life, if Rana were Indian, that would definitely be commented on at some point, even if just to make a joke about the two countries, but again, it is a show.
