I never thought I would see this day when a white man apologizes for the tyranny and oppression of Native American population. This is so powerful. This is the nation that I want – responsible, compassionate and that learns from its mistakes.

Not to sound like a lil’ bitch but my eyes got a little sweaty here. This is what a white ally looks like; they acknowledge their history of oppressing black and brown people, they ask for forgiveness and they’re are willing and ready to work with them.
