i was genuinely worried about the premise & but the narrative handles all of that with such grace and compassion, it’s fantastic

and i think the show strikes the perfect balance between telenovela shenanigans & nuanced, gentle character notes, so you get IMPROBABLE COINCIDENCES! MURDER! MAYHEM! DRAMA!!!!!!!! but the characterization & family interactions are nevertheless layered, and sweet, and i already feel so invested in all of these dorks.

it’s a telenovela that’s also spoofing telenovelas, but like…it has such obvious affection and delight for the genre, it’s not mocking at all, it’s just so HAPPY 

THIS SHOW MAKES ME REALLY HAPPY, THE END
