Things Quinn Fabray Had to Lose:

  1. Any kind of pride at all in her “tremulous alto”. The great Rachel Berry herself said they needed it and Sue quickly disabuses her of that. (That little resigned smile where she laughs at herself for expecting anything different or believing Rachel to begin with.)
  2. Noah Puckerman’s affection. “Yes, especially now” was a long time ago.
  3. The knowledge that at least one adult cared about what happened to her and had her back. (At this point, she’s not even bothering to fight back.)
  4. Beth. For a second time. After all the other things she didn’t have to lose, she finally cries at this. (How carefully she took the phone and cradles it in her hands.)

And then it’s a mystery why she has to pretend to be special.
